First Annual Trivia Night

The library's first annual trivia night was held February 23, 2008.

First Annual Trivia Night

It's "Miller Time" at the first annual trivia night

Our first annual Trivia Night Fundraiser was held on February 23, 2008 at the Viola Community Center with nine teams competing.  The winning table won four tickets to a Steamwheelers Game and six tickets to a Quad City Flames hockey game.  Congratulations to "Miller Time" for winning this year's event.

Raffle prizes included a basket of international chocolates, hunting and fishing gear, movies, music, sports, and many more.

Gag prizes were awarded by drawing names from a bucket.  These prizes included tiaras, construction hat, fire hat, glasses, bead necklaces and more.  Watch for photos from the event to be posted.

For our first event, the library raised $901.64 after expenses.  Plans are already underway for next year's event.  Bring your friends and see if you're smarter than a librarian!
